Pink Day!

I love how these kiddos are finally starting to hug each other.
So impressed that I had two boys in this class that actually had pink shirts!  Love that some of the boys knew that pink is a form of red!
I love that Dylan went all out for pink day and even made his hair pink!

Halloween Hulabaloo!

We had such a great time on Wednesday celebrating Halloween.  We got to show off our costumes, make a jack-o-lantern magnet, play ghost, ghost witch (duck duck goose), carve pumpkins, make garbage bag ghosts and the best:  Play outside!

It is official!!  I need to hire a permanent photographer for the afternoon class.  I always forget the important pictures.  We went outside to take pictures of the class but one of the kiddos wasn't there yet and I knew he was coming so  we only took pictures of the girls thinking we would take a group picture as soon as he got there.  It never happened and I feel so bad!  Luckily, Sofia's mom took a random group shot of the boys waiting their turn so I included her picture!  Thanks for saving me Monica!

This has to be one of my favorite pictures ever!  These boys are so cute!

Don't you just love the poses?!

Marcel's very cute jack-o-lantern mandarin oranges

I couldn't resist posting this.  I LOVE Reese's face in this picture.  She looks like she is really scowling at someone.  She is really just squinting into the sun but I think it is hilarious and she is just too cute to resist.

Grand G Goodness!

There are so many yummy G snacks!

Here's Lyla (AM) with her Gorgeous Green butterfly out of grapes & goldfish with a side dish of frozen Go-Gurt and Grape juice.
Greysen (PM) helped celebrate G week by bringing Goldfish, Gatorade and GoGo squeezes.
Don't these just make you hungry?!!

A Great and Gorgeous week for G!

We had very few G activities this week since we were having such a good time celebrating Halloween.

We did have Graphing Halloween erasers.  This center was a big hit with all he kiddos.  I never can guess which one they will like the best.

I love how Dylan concentrates by sticking his tongue out.
This is his sign that he is working hard!

This is Dallon & Dylan (PM) and Reese doing the candy corn make a word puzzles.  There is a picture on each orange piece.  The kids have to figure out which yellow and white pieces go together to make the word to go along with the picture.

This center was matching the skeleton bone upper case letters with the lower case letters.
We also had another skeleton that matched the color words with the colors.

What's the first letter - Halloween style with Zachary and Marcel (PM)
Monster numbers - Mark the right number of monsters with the clothespin.

 Numbers in order spider puzzle
Reese (AM)
Vivian and Mary (AM)

 Marcel (PM)
And the favorite activity of the week:  GLOOP
8 oz glue & 1 c. cold water mixed
1 1/2 tsp borax & 1 c. warm water & food coloring
Mix together and ENJOY!
The kiddos LOVED this not-quite-a-solid G activity!

Gray Day!

While Gray week was fun, it just couldn't top the Halloween festivities.  Here's Addy with the AM's gray snack (very impressive Mom! nothing is gray an it is hard to make! Thanks for the extra efforts!
I had a little clearer picture but her smile in this one just couldn't be topped!

Hadn't planned on this being the "gray" picture but they were all standing around the gloop and they looked so cute.  Impromtu pictures are always great.  Notice the gloop is GRAY!  That was not intentional.  We had 4 colors - pink, purple, yellow and blue.  I let them mix them together today with great surprising results!
I love all the shades of gray.  We talked today about how black and white are usually the colors that make gray and how much white you put in determines how light the gray color becomes.
The PM class had lots of extra time today because they worked super hard all morning so we treated ourselves to "Go, Diego, Go" during snack time.
